We may be very small compared to the challenge ahead of us, none-the-less we are determined to work towards it and help reduce the amount of fresh produce wasted annually in India.

In early Dec 07 Everfresh machines were installed in the produce department. Using Bananas as an example, a comparison of the wastage for November (without extractors) versus December (with extractors) showed that there was approximately a 60% reduction throughout December. Bananas are just one example. Staff found that several other varieties of the fruit and other vegetables held very well.
